Inverugie is a late Georgian House, situated about a mile above the village of Hopeman. The house is surrounded by wonderful wooded grounds for guests to enjoy, including a walled garden of about 1.5 acres. The garden provides the house with all its vegetables during a large part of the year. If you decide to take up the option of dinner, you will be treated to some of these! The house is only 20 minutes walk to the village of Hopeman with its picturesque harbour and lovely beaches. Hopeman also has a very good golf course, several pubs and an excellent ice cream shop.

The local area has much to offer, as the county of Moray is a microcosm of the best of Scotland. Beautiful scenery, normally fine weather, good food and friendly people. There is a lot to do for everyone, from golf to Whisky trails, beaches to walking. Inverugie also makes a fine base for those who have come to fish on the Spey or the Findhorn, which are only about half an hour away. The owners of Inverugie, Roddy and Lucy MacKenzie, are always happy to give advise to help their guests make the most of their visit.
Roddy and Lucy have three children and Lucy runs her own children's knitwear business from home. Roddy is in the whisky business and is pleased to assist those interested in Scotch Whisky and the opportunity to visit distilleries in the area.

One double bedroom with bathroom nearby.
Further twin bedroom which would share the bathroom with the double room. This would suit a family or friends.
The double room can have an extra bed added for those wishing a family room.
